Troop Drill at Fort Lytton

14th and 15th November 2009

Fort Lytton, Brisbane

as part of the 2009 ARC Biennale of Art

This installation/performance event took place at sunset, initiated by sounds from the didgeridoo and bagpipes. The site-specific artwork drew from the Fort’s history as the training ground for the Queensland Army, and used horses, riders and video projections in a choreographed immersive performance where audiences were lead into the Fort’s amphitheatre by Queensland Parks and Wildlife guides.
